Flexible couplings
Flexible couplings are devices used to transmit power/torque. They are robust, entirely made of metal, and characterized by high durability and efficiency of use.
Compared to other couplings, they can operate continuously and at high speed in order to:
- transmit high torque with small sizes
- compensate alignment errors
- replace unprotected, complicated or dangerous activation systems
- be torsionally rigid
- prevent backlash
- damp shocks and vibrations
- reduce the weight of tools required for maintenance
