DC-injection electronic brake units: the simplest solution to brake an AC motor with no stress.

The brake control unit in the MFC and MFD series has been designed to statically achieve fast braking of a standard three-phase squirrel cage or wound-rotor asynchronous motor by injecting electronically controlled current into the motor windings after the main contactor has been opened.

Operational advantages:

• easy installation and calibration by microprocessor control
• completely solid state, maintenance free
• settable braking torque for different modes of operation with front trimmer adjustment to achieve the stop as required
