Westcar is founded by the two partners, Marcello Gorgaini and Fortunato Pezzimenti, and starts operating in the Industrial power transmission field

The company moves to the new operational headquarters in Solbiate Olona, specialising in the construction of fluid, hydromechanical and alignment couplings.

The second generation joins the management team, and the company continues its expansion, experimenting with new products and implementing new technologies.

The operational headquarters in Solbiate Olona are enlarged in order to respond to the constant production growth of the company, which now requires further space.

Westcar celebrates 40 years of activity and confirms its technical, customer-oriented approach, thanks to a more and more customized production, which complements the range of standard components in the catalogue.

Thanks to the support and expertise provided by external consultants, the company puts in place a general reorganization, implementing smart working and optimizing all systems and processes.
